The new kid on the block sure knows how to navigate when it comes to boat and RV financing. Customer One Financial's Cathy Comstock not only has 20 years experience as an executive in the financing business, she has 30 years of direct consumer experience as a boat owner. "We started boating as a family when we were small, and we've been boating ever since." Says Comstock. "It's a wonderful way for a family to be together. I truly believe that all the boating we've done over the years played a big part in how close we are as a family today."

Cathy Comstock founded Customer One Financial with her son, Rob. Her daughter, Carolyn, works of their Old Saybrook office as well. "It's a family business, no doubt about that," states Rob Comstock. "And having been on both sides of boat financing, we know the importance of providing excellent customer service. Robert Comstock, Jr. has spent the last twelve years in the retail energy business, both with large oil companies as well as natural gas provider.

Kelly Gilbert has also joined Customer One team. "Kelly is a big asset because of her experience and commitment to the customer service," says Rob. "She's part of the family already." Cathy Comstock was associated with Essex credit Corporation for 19 years, most recently as president. There she developed relationships with many people in the boating, RV and banking industries while focusing on customer service. Her biggest take away? As she puts it, "Treat people the way you'd like to be treated. As a boat owner, I know it's the personal touch that creates loyalty and trust."
